Bread, butter, and Bangkok.
Thick-cut brioche, griddled, loaded, and served with Thai iced tea. The simplest thing on the menu is the whole point.
The idea
Thai street toast is a specific thing: bread cut far thicker than a Western slice, griddled in butter until the edges go glassy, and then loaded past the point of restraint.
Toast House by Siam builds the whole menu on that one technique. Everything else — Nutella, condensed milk, ice cream on top — is there because the base can carry it.
Paired with Thai iced tea, which is not a side order here. It’s half the reason people come.
Let the toast do the talking.
One technique, four ways to load it.
The signature
The flagship. Nutella through steamed brioche — add ice cream on top; almost everyone does.
Thick-cut and sugar-dusted, topped with strawberry or mango cream cheese.
Charcoal brioche under a thick swirl of cream cheese. The one that photographs itself.
Filled brioche, griddled and dusted — butter, chocolate or pistachio in the middle.
